Kimberly Cloud, the founder of one of the fastest-growing Black-owned cleaning companies in Pennsylvania, is on track to become a six-figure company by the end of the year.
Serial entrepreneur and veteran Kimberly Cloud is a trailblazer for women in business that face adversity. As the owner of Blue Cloud Cleaning LLC, a nationally recognized cleaning agency in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania (about 45 minutes from the Pocono Mountains), Kimberly strives to provide an inclusive work environment that places a major focus on empowering women.
As a 36-year old mother of three beautiful children, she has been through a lot. At the young age of 15, Kimberly suffered the tragic loss of her mother spinning her into a fight with her mental illness. After struggling with mental illness and resorting to substance abuse issues to cope, she found a physician who gave her the professional treatment she needed. Kimberly was able to regain control of her life and attend college where she would eventually earn her Master’s degree. Her perseverance and focus have paid off as she catapulted herself into entrepreneurial success in multiple industries.
Blue Cloud Cleaning LLC, has proven to be her best venture gaining her more access and exposure than she imagined. Blue Cloud has garnered the attention of various media outlets and publications including Yahoo Insider, Business Insider, CEO Weekly, Fortune Magazine, Thrive Global, and US News.
As her empire expands, Kimberly maintains her core values by employing an almost completely all-woman staff with the exception of one man. She even wrote a book called Life of a Cloud: A Short Story by Kimberly Cloud to inspire others.
